The spring 2024 California Automotive Teachers Conference is rapidly approaching. The big event is happening at Monterey Peninsula College in beautiful Monterey. The nearest airport is the local airport in Monterey; which is a convenient, small and relaxed air terminal but often a fair bit more expensive than flying to larger airports. More economical transportation can be found by flying to San Jose International (75 miles away) or San Francisco International (100 miles away). There are shuttles available through Groome Transportation that will provide transport between Monterey and both San Jose and San Francisco Airports. With regards to accommodation, our conference coincides with another big event in the area—the Big Sur Marathon—so it is important to book early. This HOTEL LINK will be the rates we could aquire. FRIDAY INFORMATION

Members will be able to check in and/or register between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Exhibitors will be able set up during these hours as well. Matt Mahlke with the Bureau of Automotive Repair will offer informational updates at 12:00 PM, followed by an opportunity to take the BAR Certified Instructor Exam. Friday dinner is included in your registration and begins at 4:00 PM. The CAT Board Meeting will be held in the Auto Tech Classroom from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. For the complete schedule, click here.
